Moving to Florence

Florence Arizona is part of Pinal County and is one of the oldest cities in the state.  It was established in 1866 and has grown to a population of over 17,000.  Renters make up about one-third of the population and income has climbed past $50,000.  Florence is well connected to the area as three highways run through it.  It is about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix, 70 miles northeast of Tucson, and just over 30 miles southeast of Gilbert and Mesa.

Temperature averages a low of 37 degrees in January and a high of 105 degrees in July.  Only about 10 inches of rain fall each year so most of the days in the year are sunny.

The Sonoran Desert and Gila River surround the Florence area.  Several canyons, state parks, and more provide many recreational opportunities for all to enjoy.
